Librederm is a major international cosmetic brand that develops innovative pharmaceutical cosmetics.
In 2022, the company began to increasingly face the problem of supporting the current online store: development is long, complex and expensive. Based on the research results, it was decided to launch a new project on 1C-Bitrix: the platform provides all the opportunities for quick implementation, integration with external systems, building omnichannel and, importantly, finding a suitable contractor among hundreds of companies.
Librederm invited us to develop a new online store - primarily because of its serious portfolio. This is how work began on a new interesting project.
In the spring of 2022, we began designing a new website. Together with the client, we drew up a detailed design assignment of more than 50 pages so as not to miss a single important detail.
Before moving on to the design, we developed schematic prototypes of the main pages to consolidate the location of functional elements and visualize the user scenario.
When developing the design, we decided to avoid flashy colors and complex animations, focusing on the presentation of products. We used only a few corporate colors and font styles, focusing on large photographs - it turned out clean and concise.
We did an adaptive layout of the layouts on VueJS, set up reactive page updates and catalog loading on Ajax. This helps the site work faster and more responsively: for example, filters in the catalog are applied without annoying reloading of the entire page. And, of course, the site is equally convenient to use on screens of different sizes: from large desktops to smartphones.
Integration with B2CPL fulfilment, which ensures the order processing process from its registration to delivery to the buyer, has been implemented. Data exchange between the online store and fulfilment has been implemented: order processing and updating their statuses, receiving data on product balances and on order delivery - address, delivery methods and terms.
Courier delivery to the door, delivery by Russian Post for regions or to order pick-up points are possible.
Payment systems. Connected online payment via bank acquiring from the YooMoney service.
We carried out deep integration with Mindbox, a marketing automation platform. It allows you to set up authorization in your personal account using SMS, display pop-ups, dynamic blocks, banners and widgets on the site.
In addition, we implemented a full-fledged loyalty program with the ability to accumulate points and pay for part of the order in the online store with them.
We connected Digift to the site — a service for creating and selling gift certificates. It allows you to quickly and easily launch the sale of gift cards with your own design, any denomination and congratulatory text. The certificate can be used to pay for purchases in the online store.
The new Librederm online store opened for all users in June 2023. As often happens with large projects, there were some difficulties, but together with the client we successfully overcame them, and now anyone can buy innovative cosmetics on a convenient website.
