Orsay is a German brand of women’s clothing founded in 1975 and counting more than 600 shops in 34 countries all over the world.
The company first came into the Russian market in 2006, but had to leave after eight years. In 2018, they decided to come back to Russia, both offline and online. Orsay selected our Studio to develop their online direction.
The key feature of this project was active communication in English. Not only the Russian office, but also their colleagues from the German headquarters directly participated in the process.
Commercial proposal, contract and project specification were prepared in two languages.
Correspondence and Skype calls were in English. Our colleagues from the Orsay’s representative office in Moscow helped us to communicate with the European office.
At the design development stage, we prepared interactive prototypes of all website pages to visualize user scenarios and interface elements. The design was based on the Orsay’s German website, but we made sure Russian users feel at home when browsing.
Interface elements automatically adapt to screen resolution.
Today, orsay.ru is an adaptive online catalogue with its primary goal to properly represent the product range of the brand that combines femininity, gracefulness and newest trends.
After the launch, we immediately switched to active project support and further development.
