Reima is a popular Finnish brand of functional kids’ wear.

In 2019, Reima contacted us regarding some issues they were having with their current online store. Following a comprehensive audit, it was decided that a brand-new website needs to be developed.

Design

The design is based on Reima’s Finnish website re-worked with due consideration of the Russian market environment. The site is adapted to all kinds of devices and platforms.

The shopping cart and the checkout have been combined into one lighter page to make shopping easier.

The flypage contains large photos and a detailed description, which is crucial for parents selecting clothes for their children.

You can compare up to four items by all key parameters.

We have added new sections to the personal area, such as «My bonuses», «My kids», and «Address book». Now you can learn how much bonus points you have, enter your kid’s date of birth to get a discount, and add several addresses.

The catalogue is generated by data feeds from 1C «Commerce Management».

Orders are processed by eSolutions fulfilment service. The site receives stock balance and sends new orders back.

The website generates data feed and sends information on goods and orders to a mobile app by imSHOP. The app returns new orders to the site, which are then processed by eSolutions.

Reservation and pickup at offline locations are implemented via integration with 1C: the shops have 1C «Retail» set up, which updates the balance at the website.

You can pay both online via Sberbank acquiring service and upon receipt of your order.

  • Emarsys suggests recommended products based on customer behaviour and preferences.
  • Flocktory prompts purchases via pop-ups and push notifications offering discounts, gifts, and tips.
  • Dadata automatically locates your city, gives autocomplete prompts for addresses, and verifies that the address entered is valid.
  • Smart Elasticsearch quickly indexes the catalogue after updates and is capable of «learning» associations and recommendations.

After a successful launch, Reima continued to develop this project on their own. In September 2020, the website won the prestigious «Runet Rating» contest.
